Carlton Griggs NJ, Expert In Customer Service

Carlton Griggs graduated with a degree in Business Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and it was here that he first realized his interest in customer service skills and management. Since graduating, he has taken a variety of jobs in different industries building a valuable set of skills. He is now considered to be somewhat of an expert in Customer Service after years of working in the field and having refined his skills. He is currently applying all his experience in his role as a manager trainee at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where his years of experience are going to good use.

One of Carlton Griggs' favorite pastimes and activities horseback riding, which for him has always been a great chance to get into nature. Working as a salesman can be stressful and at times overwhelmingly busy, so getting a taste of the great outdoors s vital for staying in shape both mentally and physically.

One of the major positives of working as a salesman are the opportunities to work with a variety of different companies both domestically and internationally. Being a bonus based and not salary specific job, there is also a great chance to earn money. Sales positions also generally offer a large benefits package that includes, car allowance, commission, bonuses, even trips to exotic locations, cell phones, laptops, expense accounts and much more. However, the life of a salesman can be quite the challenge at times. Salesmen are held directly accountable for their performances, and to earn the big bucks must put in the big hours. This can add a lot of stress and pressure on people and if they do not work well in this kind of environment, and it is crucial they stay in shape both physically and mentally.

When analyzing any profession it is clear that there are both pros and cons. Whatever job people do they will find negative aspects to their work, so it is vital to find a balance of work life and play. Having an active and engaging personal life is a great way to help reduce stress and to simply get away from the business of one's professional life. This is why Carlton Griggs ensures that he regularly takes time for himself to go horseback riding, and also enjoys following his passion for tennis. Carlton Griggs and New Jersey’s Musical Heritage

As far as music goes, for such a small state New Jersey has been the birthplace of many famous musicians across genres. The most famous rockstar still living who was born and bred in the Garden State is Bruce Springsteen, ‘The Boss’, who was born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1949. Springsteen has cited from an early age being musically inspired by a fellow New Jersey singer, Frank Sinatra. Sinatra was born in Hoboken to Italian parents, and grew up in the swing era where nearby musical events cultivated his music talent for years. Sinatra and Springsteen are now two of the best-selling artists of all time and are part of a long tradition of famous music talent that has come from New Jersey.

As a born and raised New Jersey citizen, Carlton Griggs’ hobbies include being a keen music fan from an early age, specifically rock and roll. He is a certified Mazda Sales Consultant, who has a degree in Business Management from Fairleigh University and has in the past been a successful landscape gardener. Like many fans of rock and roll, he thinks as a genre it has the ability to integrate generations of listeners. Its influence has sustained throughout the decades, and for many years and likely many more years to come it has provided catharsis through listening - and is a great way to release frustrations. This is as relevant for the 9-5 worker as it is to the angst ridden teenager.

Although Bruce Springsteen is certainly the first New Jersey rock musician that comes to mind, there have been many others that claim Garden State heritage, including Bon Jovi, My Chemical Romance, Sharon Van Etten, the Ramones’ drummer, and Patti Smith. Rock music has had a unique influence across cultures worldwide, from heavy metal to punk, classic rock to alternative rock, it has inspired emerging musicians to develop and expand their musical talents. New Jersey has been the proud host of many significant music events, the Giants Stadium, Asbury Park, and of course Atlantic City have been notable locations for performers.

As well as his musical interest, outside of his work Carlton Griggs and his football passion have also been noted. He has worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Mazda, and has always loved cars - and driving to rock music is usually one the most cathartic of pastimes. Carlton Griggs and His Football Passion

Carlton Griggs – Redefining Professional Experience

Carlton began his career as a customer sales representative at Fessenden Hall Inc. During his time there he coordinated special orders for the customers and helped in the management of warehouse inventory. Carlton then moved on to be a teller at Commerce Bank for almost two years. His time here provided him an opportunity to develop and hone his customer service skills. He specifically worked with customers in opening and closing their accounts, verified night deposits for large companies, he was personally selected to attend manager meetings, he had cross-trained with various customer service representatives, and even organized and regulated the change machine. Carlton was able to take away a large set of skills from his job at Commerce Bank. He then went on to be a Warehouse Associate at Ginsey where he was able to acquire various experience in: product ordering, forklift operations, assembly lines, and vinyl cutting. Carlton was also an active participant in meetings where he would conduct speeches that promoted teamwork and respect in the work place. Carlton even was involved in a safety committee, which worked to ensure a safe and productive work atmosphere.

Carlton Griggs is professionally diversified due to his extensive work experience in several different fields. GameStop would be Carlton’s next profession. He worked there for almost four years and was promoted to a managerial position within only five months of employment. During his time at GameStop, Carlton was able to manage, train, provided quality customer service, and helped recruit new employees. His time at GameStop was a great addition to his professional experience and really gave him insight on several aspects of customer service through a managerial lens. Carlton is currently working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where he is able to apply all of his years of sales, customer service, and management to his current position as Manager Trainee.

Some of Carlton’s accomplishments at Enterprise were outstanding protection product sales throughout the fiscal year, Carlton even established new business relationships with Delta Marcliff Insurance Agency and Hanson & Ryan Insurance Company, introduced and set up the automated rental management system (ARMS) for Schumacher Chevrolet and trained the staff on how to effectively use the ARMS system for reservations, extensions, and billing information, created discounted customer pay rate sheets for various insurance and auto body accounts, and increased the amount of referrals every month by holding competitions between insurance agents and auto body shops.

Carlton Griggs – Pros & Cons to Being a Salesman

Carlton Griggs has exemplary salesmanship, which is due to his vast amounts of his experiences he has obtained through working at several different companies. Carlton has worked as a customer sales representative at Fessenden Hall Inc., at teller at Commerce Bank, at tennis instructor with Haddon Heights Tennis Club, a warehouse associate at Ginsey, at part-time manager at GameStop, a landscape architect at Ray Down’s Complete Landscaping, and finally a manager trainee at Enterprise Rent-A-Car where he is currently employed.

Carlton Griggs makes sure to always uphold superb salesmanship and high standards at each of the positions he holds. Having a career in both sales and customer service can be very challenging but it can also be rewarding. It is also very dependent on the type of sales jobs you have and what company you are working for. In order to find the best fit for you it is essential to do extensive research on the company before you accept the job with them, because at some companies the negatives might out weigh the positives and all of the good aspects of sales jobs might not hold up at this company.

One of the primary reasons people want to enter into the field of sales is due to the potential that they have to earn money. Not only will be you offered a base yearly salary but you are also able to receive commission for the sales that you make. This concept of commission is what people really view as a great opportunity to make as much as you are willing to put into it, because most other jobs are annual salary and there is not a possibility to make more than what your salary actually is. Sales positions also generally offer a large benefits package that includes, car allowance, commission, bonuses, even trips to exotic locations, cell phones, laptops, expense accounts and much more.  On the flip side sales jobs can be quite the challenge, because in order to receive that high income you have to work extremely hard and deliver on your goals and performance, you are directly held accountable for how much you do or do not make which leads to a lot of pressure and stress on individuals.

It takes a human resources expert to know the best ways to make the most out of the opportunities a sales job can offer, such as entrepreneurship, flexibility, and challenges.

Carlton Griggs – The Importance of a Work Life Balance

For many of us, work is often difficult, demanding, and time-consuming. This means that there is not always a lot of time left for us to enjoy what we love, which can leave us feeling stressed, exhausted, and burnt out. While some of this is due to the greater expectations employers put on their staff, much of it is caused by the additional pressures we put on ourselves to achieve greater results, often at the expense of our own physical and mental well-being.

Occasional stress because of work is normal for every job, but burnouts are extremely unhealthy. A burnout is when you feel so overwhelmed that you are unable to meet constant demands. Burnouts can negatively effect every aspect of your being, including your personal, professional, and social lives. Having a work life balance is critical because it helps professionals keep the stress of work at work, while making sure home life is a time to relax and enjoy family and leisure activities.

Carlton Griggs from New Jersey has worked in many demanding jobs and industries, including marketing, customer sales, retail services, tennis instructing, and landscaping. However, when he is not diligently working at whatever job he is currently holding, Mr. Griggs always takes time to enjoy a few of his favorite hobbies. One of these hobbies is learning to cook. Mr. Griggs says that for him, cooking is an excellent way for him to tap into his creative side, while also eating healthily and cost-effectively. With no professional training, Mr. Griggs enjoys trying new recipes for foods he’s never eaten before. Though success is not always guaranteed, the excitement of experimenting and hopefully achieving something delicious is often a rewarding pastime for him.

Carlton Griggs also loves traveling because it has opened him up to places and cultures that he otherwise would have never experienced, which has helped him to grow and develop as a person. Traveling also helps him slow down the pace of his professional life. While he genuinely enjoys his work, he also acknowledges that its repetitive routine can be draining. Mr. Griggs believes that visiting new places is a great way to recharge, while also building self-confidence by getting out of his comfort zone.

No matter what Carlton Griggs undertakes – whether professionally or for fun – he always puts forth his best effort and tries to get the most out of each and every experience.

Carlton Griggs – Excelling in Managerial Positions

Carlton Griggs is a professional who knows exactly what it takes to succeed in leadership positions. Throughout his career, Mr. Griggs has held many esteemed jobs, including a customer sales representative at Fessenden Hall Inc., a teller at Commerce Bank, a tennis instructor at Haddon Heights Tennis Club, a warehouse associate at Ginsey, a part-time manager at GameStop, a landscape architect at Ray Down’s Complete Landscaping, and a manager trainee at Enterprise Rent-a-Car. Through his experience in such a wide variety of industries, Mr. Griggs has learned that being a leader means more than just ordering people around. Being a good leader means being trustworthy, confident, and having the people skills and enthusiasm for the job needed to be successful.

Leadership skills are not always something a person is born with, however – they are gained and developed through experience. Though Mr. Griggs’ past work experience provided him with a strong foundation for professional managerial roles, he learned some of the most important skills for the job as a management trainee at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where he worked from September 2011 to July 2013. One of these skills was effective customer service.

Customer service is extremely important in the business world because it is the primary contact an organization has with its customers, who are vital to a company’s survival. A company with excellent customer service improves its profitability by increasing the likelihood that a customer will continue to use the company’s product or service, while also recommending it to their friends and family. Good customer service is also cost-effective. Acquiring customers is much more expensive than retaining them because of advertising costs and the expense of sales calls. Therefore, connecting and treating customers with respect and attentiveness really pays off. At Enterprise, Carlton Griggs demonstrated a high level of customer service by assisting customers and assessing their rental needs both in-person and by telephone. He was also responsible for conducting follow-ups with various businesses and customers, including insurance agents, dealerships, auto body shops, road-side assistance, and national reservations.

Furthermore, Carlton Griggs received extensive training about how to handle the financial side of the business. By applying appropriate rental charges and handling all forms of customer payments, creating discounted customer pay rate sheets for various insurance and auto body accounts, and increasing the amount of referrals every month by holding competitions between insurance agents and auto body shops, Mr. Griggs obtained a strong knowledge of sales techniques to excel in a competitive business environment.
