Having a career in both sales and customer service can be very challenging but it can also be rewarding. It is also very dependent on the type of sales jobs you have and what company you are working for. In order to find the best fit for you it is essential to do extensive research on the company before you accept the job with them, because at some companies the negatives might out weigh the positives and all of the good aspects of sales jobs might not hold up at this company.

One of the primary reasons people want to enter into the field of sales is due to the potential that they have to earn money. Not only will be you offered a base yearly salary but you are also able to receive commission for the sales that you make. This concept of commission is what people really view as a great opportunity to make as much as you are willing to put into it, because most other jobs are annual salary and there is not a possibility to make more than what your salary actually is. Sales positions also generally offer a large benefits package that includes, car allowance, commission, bonuses, even trips to exotic locations, cell phones, laptops, expense accounts and much more.  On the flip side sales jobs can be quite the challenge, because in order to receive that high income you have to work extremely hard and deliver on your goals and performance, you are directly held accountable for how much you do or do not make which leads to a lot of pressure and stress on individuals.

It takes a human resources expert to know the best ways to make the most out of the opportunities a sales job can offer, such as entrepreneurship, flexibility, and challenges.
